Describe the feature you would like

It would be nice to use cast as a standalone cli tool even if one is not using the rest of boundaries features i.e. foundry. From what I saw in the docs this is not possible.

Are you sure? Foundryup installs cast and it works fine?

Not sure this makes sense. If you use foundryup, you get both, if you just want one, it is possible to download from GitHub releases

This is going to be addressed in #1647 in one of two ways: We either decide that it does not make sense to have the components installed separately, or we implement it as part of the new foundryup
