Difficulties building project and outdated dependencies

I am facing issues while loading the "Pages" pod.

Project has a pod "Pages" which is not updated for swift 3 which gives around ~45 errors at buildtime. Should the pod be updated or a new pod be selected?

so basically the pods being used earlier were outdated, so I had sent a PR to update the same. @xorforce you can try running a pod update and then clean the project followed by re building it -> should work fine. Issues are like since the APIs were changed from earlier, then the pods used in the project do not offer full swift 3 support, so I suppose the project would have to of under a huge refactor, maybe with using different pods and also refactoring code to follow a specific pattern. @mariobehling

I ran pod install and then pod update to remove the build errors. But its showing some other problem.

Please help me out, as I want to contribute in this application for Fossasia. How do I fix these ?

• run pod update
• clean -> build
• add libraries back

Thanks for help @chashmeetsingh . I also updated my cocoapods version from 1.0.1 to 1.1.1.

@mariobehling i was using a fork of Pages with some fixes I made that the library maintainers have yet to merged into their version. They've since merged my changes with compatibility fixes for Swift version 4 and beyond. I've created an issue specifically for this: #38

a fix for the build error the Pages dependency is giving is now available as a PR. it's changes are minor, so i'll appreciate some 👀 on it
