Exporting calendar doesn't work #820
Comments
I understand the confusion. As its written now it only opens the calendar to the given day. It doesn't add events. By the way there is a separate app if you need to add a lot of calendar events; https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.forrestguice.suntimescalendars/ |
Oh sorry, I must have opened an issue on the wrong app. I am using Suntimes Calender.

I think an upcoming patch could extend this to open the "add calendar event" dialog instead, or offer a choice.

Oh!! Yeah, that does change the context quite a bit. Which calendar app are you using? |
I'm new to github so I'm not sure how to move an issue to a different repo.
I'm using Fossify calendar app on /e/os.

Don't worry about. Opening the issue here works for me too (although I was definitely confused and thought this was about a recent change in Suntimes).
I figured it was something like this. To make it work you'll need to...

Oh, amazing, that works, thank you!

I figured it was something like this.
I'm copying these steps from forrestguice/SuntimesCalendars#63, so hopefully they are still accurate.
To make it work you'll need to...
1. add the calendars from Suntimes Calendars.
2. from Fossify-Calendar; check `: -> Settings -> CalDAV -> CalDAV sync`.
3. then `: -> Settings -> Manage synced calendars` and check the Suntimes calendars.
4. then `: -> Refresh CalDAV calendars`.
5. Finally look in the filter list to show/hide the events.
