solstice dialog "view date" menu doesn't work

version: v0.14.2
From the solstice dialog:

1. select an item
2. click the item's context menu :
3. View Date -> Show Position (or any other)
4. The resulting dialog is launched but it shows the wrong date (always today's date).
   The "View Date" actions in the other dialogs work correctly.

It works on a device running api19, but fails on a device running api29, and the emulator running api30.
