### 13. Continuum YOLO Runtime-Neutral Edict

Continuum standardizes lawful self-extension, not storage. The active platform
posture is captured in
[0021-continuum-yolo-runtime-neutral-edict-sha-lock-assurance](./design/0021-continuum-yolo-runtime-neutral-edict-sha-lock-assurance/continuum-yolo-runtime-neutral-edict-sha-lock-assurance.md).

The correction is narrow and binding:

- Continuum has no official graph, database, event log, repository, or storage
runtime.
- Edict Core is a deterministic lawful-effect language, not a graph scripting
language.
- Storage operations enter through declared runtime target profiles such as
`echo.dpo@1`, `gitwarp.ref_crdt@1`, `kv.transactional@1`, or
`eventlog.append@1`.
- Echo Span IR is Echo DPO target IR, not universal Continuum IR.
- GraphQL/Wesley/weslaw are source-profile and compiler-substrate surfaces;
they do not own Echo operation ids, Echo DPO semantics, Continuum agent
policy, or runtime admission.
- Declared footprints are policy bounds. The source of truth is checked,
target-specific effect and footprint inference.
- FIDLAR-shaped raw callbacks are outside the normal YOLO lane.
### 13. Edict Extracted To Dedicated Repository

The Continuum/Edict design packet originally captured in Wesley has been
extracted to the dedicated
[flyingrobots/edict](https://github.com/flyingrobots/edict) repository. Wesley's
local packet
[0021-continuum-yolo-runtime-neutral-edict-sha-lock-assurance](./design/0021-continuum-yolo-runtime-neutral-edict-sha-lock-assurance/continuum-yolo-runtime-neutral-edict-sha-lock-assurance.md)
is now a historical locator, not the canonical language/specification surface.

Continuing Edict implementation work is tracked in
[flyingrobots/edict#1](https://github.com/flyingrobots/edict/issues/1). Wesley's
remaining responsibility is GraphQL and `weslaw` source-profile adapter work,
compiler evidence integration, and any future bridge code that consumes Edict
artifacts without taking ownership of Edict Core or target-profile semantics.

The repository boundary is binding:

- Edict owns the language, Core IR, canonicalization, conformance fixtures, and
target-profile ABI surface.
- Wesley owns GraphQL and `weslaw` source-profile adapters and compiler
evidence integration.
- Continuum owns participant protocol and admission.
- Echo owns `echo.dpo@1` target semantics.
- Continuum still has no official graph, database, event log, repository, or
storage runtime.
