Goal

Ban basis-less materialized text reads from product paths.

Acceptance criteria

  • Product read APIs require basisHeadId and byteRange.
  • Existing current-text helpers are deleted, quarantined, or marked test-only.
  • Tests prove reads from historical heads remain stable after later edits.
