Subway Builder modpack that adds several French cities (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Lille, Toulouse, Rennes) to the game.

Realistic demand data for all maps: The game's generated traffic uses official French government data (INSEE and SIRENE database) for the distribution of population and jobs. This data is combined with attendance figures from the SNCF, the Ministry of Culture, and OpenStreetMap to simulate the flow towards train stations, airports, stadiums, and museums.

Installation Instructions:

Two installation methods are available: 👉 Script Method | 👉 Map Manager Method

• The Script Method (Recommended): Faster installation and provides the complete version of the mod. (Note: If this method does not work for you, please fall back to the Map Manager Method).
• The Map Manager Method: Recommended for a simpler installation process. While both methods provide the complete maps, this version lacks some secondary features, like translations and the "France" tab in the map selection menu.

Method 1: Script Method

• Download the FrancePack.zip file from the latest release.
• In Subway Builder, go to Settings > Mod Manager and click on "Open Mods Folder".
• Unzip (extract) the archive into the folder that opened.
  • Note: The ZIP file contains the files directly (without a root folder), so make sure you extract them into a folder named FrancePack inside your mods folder (often done by default by extraction software).
• Run run_windows.bat or run_mac-linux.sh (depending on your OS):
  • On Windows: Simply double-click on run_windows.bat.
  • On macOS and Linux: Open a Terminal, type sh (with a space), drag and drop the run_mac-linux.sh file into the terminal window, and press Enter.
• Enable the mod inside Subway Builder, then click on "Reload Now".
• Click on New Game: you will find the maps in the France (or Modded) tab.

⚠️ Important: You must run the script (.bat or .sh) every time you want to play the map of a city in this modpack before launching the game (feel free to create a desktop shortcut for easier access!). Make sure the terminal window remains open in the background.

Method 2: Map Manager Method

• Download the FrancePack_MapManager.zip file from the latest release.
• Unzip the downloaded ZIP file to get several individual .zip files (these are the maps you need to import).
• Follow the official Map Manager installation instructions here: https://subwaybuildermodded.com/wiki/maps/map-installation-guide/. During Step 2, after clicking on "ADD A MAP", select all the individual .zip files you just extracted.

Un modpack pour Subway Builder qui rajoute plusieurs villes françaises (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Lille, Toulouse, Rennes) au jeu.

Données de demande réalistes pour toutes les cartes : Le trafic généré par le jeu utilise les données officielles du gouvernement français (INSEE et base SIRENE) pour la répartition de la population et des emplois. Ces données sont croisées avec les chiffres de fréquentation de la SNCF, du Ministère de la Culture et d'OpenStreetMap pour simuler les flux vers les gares, aéroports, stades et musées.

Instructions d'installation :

Deux méthodes d'installation sont disponibles : 👉 Méthode Script | 👉 Méthode Map Manager

• La Méthode Script (Recommandée) : Pour une installation rapide et la version complète du mod. (Note : Si la méthode Script ne fonctionne pas chez vous, rabattez-vous sur la méthode Map Manager).
• La Méthode Map Manager : Recommandée pour une installation plus simple. Bien que les deux méthodes offrent l'intégralité des cartes de façon complète, cette version possède quelques fonctionnalités secondaires en moins, comme les traductions et l'onglet dédié "France" dans le choix de la carte.

Méthode 1 : Méthode Script

• Téléchargez le fichier FrancePack.zip depuis la dernière release.
• Dans Subway Builder, allez dans Paramètres > Mod Manager et cliquez sur "Open Mods Folder".
• Décompressez le fichier ZIP dans le dossier mods qui vient de s'ouvrir.
  • Note : Comme le fichier ZIP contient directement les fichiers (sans dossier racine), assurez-vous de bien les extraire dans un dossier nommé FrancePack à l'intérieur de mods (souvent fait par défaut par les logiciels d'extraction).
• Lancez run_windows.bat ou run_mac-linux.sh (selon votre système) :
  • Sur Windows : Double-cliquez simplement sur run_windows.bat.
  • Sur macOS et Linux : Ouvrez un Terminal, écrivez sh (avec un espace), glissez-déposez le fichier run_mac-linux.sh dans la fenêtre du terminal, puis appuyez sur Entrée.
• Activez le mod dans le jeu, puis cliquez sur "Reload Now".
• Cliquez sur Nouvelle partie : les cartes se trouvent dans l'onglet France (ou Modded).

⚠️ Important : Vous devez lancer le script (.bat ou .sh) avant chaque session de jeu pour jouer sur les cartes de ce modpack (n'hésitez pas à créer un raccourci du script sur votre bureau !). Assurez-vous que la fenêtre du terminal reste bien ouverte en arrière-plan.

Méthode 2 : Méthode Map Manager

• Téléchargez le fichier FrancePack_MapManager.zip depuis la dernière release.
• Décompressez le fichier ZIP téléchargé afin d'obtenir plusieurs fichiers .zip (qui sont toutes les cartes à importer dans le Map Manager).
• Suivez les instructions d'installation officielles ici : https://subwaybuildermodded.com/wiki/maps/map-installation-guide/. Lors de l'étape 2, après avoir cliqué sur "ADD A MAP", sélectionnez tous les fichiers .zip que vous venez d'extraire.
