I get frustrated when trying to transfer larger assets over Bluetooth. While BLE works great for quick updates, transferring extensive sub-GHz databases, complex BadUSB scripts, or large infrared libraries can be tedious.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would love to see the USB-capable version of the File Manager fully tested, merged, and released in the official Android app. A wired USB-OTG connection would provide a massive upgrade in transfer speeds and rock-solid connection reliability.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Sticking to Bluetooth or pulling out the microSD card and using an external card reader with my phone or PC which is much less seamless.
Additional context
A working implementation of this feature already exists in the dev branch and was worked on in Pull Request #1021. The development team mentioned that the core logic and USB support are built, but it needs community visibility to help prioritize final testing and stable release.
