Unlock Login keyring

I installed marktext via flathub and it work great for a month. I don't know why but out of nowhere it started to ask me to unlock the keyring and everytime I open it after login out it ask again. While it doesn't break anything it's very annoying, I don't where to begin to fix that.
I run KDE neon (plasma 5.24.2), Flatpak 1.12.4, Marktext 0.17.1

Thank you for reporting the issue. We're using the OS credentials manager to save sensible information such as the the GitHub access token. Normally, no password is required to assess this information but maybe your OS/flatpak has higher isolation restrictions that enforces the user password - because the access is from an untrusted user.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue on GNOME with Seahorse, but you could try to remove all entries that are owned by com.github.marktext.marktext in your OS credentials manager.

I try to look in kwallet manager and no entry named marktext was shown, i didn't see anything unusual with flatpak permision trough flatseal...

I tried another OS ( Fedora 35 KDE edition ) and the issue remained.

Have you installed gnome-keyring and seahorse because Flatpak tries to connect to these services via libsecret (GNOME)?

Gnome-keyring is preinstalled by fedora but not seahorse :

@Rennarde1312 gnome-keyring should be a dependency from seahorse (UI).

I guess this in a permission issue that doesn't occur on GMONE but KDE. Could you try the build in #21 with additional access permission to the user keyring?

Can you describe this in more detail? Did you started the testing package after reboot and not the stable version?

I installed the testing package and used it a little, then rebooted and opened it again, it prompted me to unlock keyring
I made sure to run the testing package by uninstalling the flathub version beforehand :
