With newer versions of
npm, when using this package as dependency and other packages, you usually get a failed dependency resolution because the dependencies here are pretty outdated.I created a fork (which is not this one), bumped the package versions (like in this PR) and published the package under an organization. After that, I didn't get any failed package resolutions and the library worked just fine.
I created this PR so that the maintainers of this repository can maybe check it out and bump the versions here too.
