Failure to publish to NPM on pre-release

It seems that making a pre-release no longer publishes to NPM correctly due to some permission issue, likely an expired token:

Judging by the npm.yml action, our NPM_TOKEN is likely expired, since it was working for previous release candidates:

        env:
          NODE_AUTH_TOKEN: ${{ secrets.NPM_TOKEN }}

@finos-admin Would appreciate it if you could look into this! The token was set about 3 years ago and something might have changed during that time. Thanks!

Apparently this will require setting up 2FA authentication for the NPM publish workflow. Are there any other FINOS projects that auto-publish to NPM?
