Summary

  • This PR adds a new utility function to format dates consistently across an application.

This commit

  • Introduces a formatDate helper function that wraps Date.toLocaleDateString()
  • Supports custom locales and formatting options.
  • Provides default formatting options for consistency
  • Adds Cypress tests
