Code Analyzer doesn't work with custom PMD ruleset

1. Tools > Flash Tools > Code Analyzer Ruleset Creator
2. Change some settings
3. Export PMD settings
4. Tools > Program Settings > Code Analyzer - change the Default Ruleset File to the one you exported in step 3
5. Tools > Flash Tools > Analyze Project Source Code
6. The status bar displays "Flex PMD Running", but the analyzer never finishes

Funny, I saw the plugin just 2 days ago, thought it should be using the new LintingManager added recently, and was wondering if people were using it at all heh. It's been maybe 6 years since I last tried it...

I should give this a try soon.

EDIT: Did you try to run PMD by yourself? does it work? since it is so old I'm wondering if maybe it has compatibility issues with modern software combinations.

The analyzer worked until I changed the PMD settings file.

Maybe the settings file got corrupted? Did you try to run PMD yourself? I would like to look into this, but I cannot give any ETA.
