Minimap is solid black

Bug Description

When playing a Skirmish via Zero Hour (not tested the base game) the minimap section of the UI is completely black.

1. Launch a Skirmish

Hey guys, it's happening randomly at first install and I can't figure why yet sometimes just turn off and on the 3d shadows solves the issue.

But if someone can provide the execution logs it can be helpfull to determine the root cause.

@fbraz3 Thanks for the reply. Tested this on macOS, and found a consistent pattern:

Fullscreen mode (double-clicking the app, or running ./GeneralsXZH with no args) → EA intro trailer doesn't play, and the minimap is solid black in Skirmish
Windowed mode (./GeneralsXZH -win) → both the intro trailer and minimap work correctly, confirmed across multiple play sessions

I also ruled out Gatekeeper/quarantine as a factor - cleared com.apple.quarantine recursively from the app bundle (sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine) and the bug still reproduced in fullscreen, so it's not a translocation issue.

Also noticed this warning spamming the log constantly during play, not sure if related:
warn: D3D8Device::SetRenderState: Unimplemented render state D3DRS_PATCHSEGMENTS

Attaching logs from both a broken fullscreen session and a working windowed session in case a diff between them is useful.
