Still no luck. We can see it starting and we see the original output from jest but then it immediately exits cleanly :(

you can use a sh file with the set -o errexit line on top

Would that help? The jest script is exiting cleanly so I think it's more of an issue with jest + something about travis. I'll try upgrading jest & node in the coming weeks and see if that helps.
