Steps to Reproduce

I just reinstalled my system and configure it. For now I found out that create-react-app don't create .git folder, but create .gitignore file. I don't know what I did wrong.

Expected Behavior

folder with .git folder.

Why should it? It’s up to the user to decide if you want to use git or any vcs for that matter.

Well, I asked someone who use it, and it's actually create. And before I reinstalled OS it also created a git.
New version of cra don't make it?

It is supposed to initialize a new git repo for you. Are you sure you installed git after you reinstalled your OS?

Yes, I wrote the version of git down - 2.17.1.

I reinstalled system about 3 times, every time it didn't work.

I fixed it! I just should to run 'git config --global user.name' and 'git config --global user.email'.
