Could you add all releases on github to offer a kind of mirror for when the PEAR channel is down?

I'd love to help out here – work-wise, hosting, etc.. We seem to run into these hickups fairly often. Mostly due to latency issues, but e.g. right now, the entire website is down due to a 'bad httpd conf'.

Yeah, uh, so, the reason the website is down is because our hosting
provider had major hardware failure on the machine the website was
hosted on.

I don't have a mirror of PEAR. You can grab zips from https://github.com/ezyang/htmlpurifier/tags
but they don't actually contain the channel info.

Erm, that's because it can't be hosted on Github (Github is not a file sharing site,
and the tgz doesn't belong in the repo.) Also, you wouldn't get the PEAR
trappings anyway.

We use github pages and pirum. :) SCS works too!
