A repository for others to contribute to, for file format signature development research.
I have not labelled the repository with a tool, e.g. DROID, as it can be used to develop work for mime-info, and File, and other tools alike.
All contributions are welcome, including reporting formats that do not have signatures, drafting signatures, identifying specification documents, and reviewing draft signatures. Please see CONTRIBUTING.md for more information.
The rights for the individual files remain with the organisation or user contributing the material. Users may want to state their licensing terms explicitly in README.MD files underneath their contributed folders.
