How to get RAW HTTP request headers in Lua script

I am trying to add WAF as sidecar to envoy gateway, I was able to do this using EnvoyPatchPolicy using lua script, for my use case I need to get the raw http request headers, how can I get the same ?

There is an API to get headers https://www.envoyproxy.io/docs/envoy/latest/configuration/http/http_filters/lua_filter. Envoy doesn't expose the "raw" headers as they happen on the wire, since it depends on the protocol.

If I use this https://www.envoyproxy.io/docs/envoy/latest/configuration/http/http_filters/lua_filter, I will get the headers which are added by envoy as well, but I don't need those, I just need the actual client's request headers and that too in the exact sequence of how they are being sent.

This is not specific to Lua, this is Envoy behavior. I have already responded about it in your other Issue
