Scrolling is not fluid when the parent of the StickyListHeadersListView is a RelativeLayout

At the point in time that the header is updated with the new header, while scrolling, the list view scrolling pauses for a split second while it updates the header view. This isn't a problem if the parent of the StickyListHeadersListView is a LinearLayout. I'm assuming that it takes the list too long to calculate the widths/heights of all the necessary views.

It's not he fact that the parent is a RelativeLayout. Just make sure you use match_parent for the width of the list view and all its parents'.

The parents' widths were definitely set to match_parent when I experienced the scrolling issue. Also, to note, the list lives within a ViewPager.

Maybe it's the ViewPager. The following works fine for me:

I'm not sure this had anything to do with the relativelayout or not.
The code in "StickyListHeadersListView.ensureHeaderHasCorrectLayoutParams()" would always do "header.setLayoutParams(lp)" even though nothing had changed. After changing the method to the code below, it fixed the hiccup for me.

only worked for me, when also the height was set to match_parent - setting width only didn't work out.
