Feature Request

Not an issue, but a feature request.

This is a pretty cool tool, but for those of us with LOTS of code snippets in OneNote already it would be very helpful if we could just select the existing text and then apply the syntax highlighting. As the tool is presently, I have to copy the existing snippet, paste it into the tool, copy it back to the OneNote page, then delete the original snippet. Very time consuming. Being able to simply format the existing snippets with a couple of clicks would be fantastic.

I've downloaded and installed version 2.4. It does not appear to be working for me at all. I select the text I want to highlight, click on the language I want it formatted as, and nothing. It opens the dialog box waiting for me to paste something in and click OK. If I click OK without pasting something in, I get a blank line with a number 1 on it (line number). Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

Click the section boundary box in Onenote, don't highlight the text.
(Not sure what the box is really called but piece of text has a frame around it, click that).

Ok, that's going to highlight the entire note, not just the "code".I have literally hundreds of notes with text and code interspersed in the same box.

I'll reopen this issue, and see what can be done in future versions.

I have had to uninstall your utility from my PC as I've found that it changes some dlls that are used by various Azure PowerShell modules. These modules are key to doing my job, it is more important for me to keep them working.

That's strange. Anyway, I'll have a look, maybe installer is putting some dlls in GAC, so that's messing with PowerShell modules.

Partial select is now supported in v3.0.
As for messing with PowerShell modules, there was one system dll (System.Net.Http.dll) that was installed into GAC, and that could cause some issues. It's now removed and this add-in should not cause any effects anymore.

Elvir, That correlates with what I was seeing. Thanks so much for taking my input and requests so seriously, and turning around a solution so quickly. I'll test out the latest version and let you know what I find.
