Timestamp area needs to have a date too #644

Description
If there was a lot of messages on a particular day, it requires scrolling past all of them to find the date banner. There should instead be a pop-up that appears on the top of the screen to show the date of the message when scrolling (like whatsapp) or the timestamp should show the date.
