Wear OS integration

I would like to get notifications on my Wear OS watch. i currently have a Huawei Watch 2 Sport and it will not notify me at all when a Riot message comes in. I dont need to have the ability to reply to a notification, or for it to say the text of the message, but the ability to be notified at all would be great.
