Autoreplacement of emojis and smiley doesn't work anymore

Description

I used to write :D and then Space to validate the smiley replacement, but it doesn't work anymore. It seems to be a regression introduced in Riot 0.17.0.

Steps to reproduce

• Enable "Auto-replace text with emojis" (or something like that, the option is in French in my case)
• Write :D
• Hit Space to validate the replacement

What happened: the emojis completion window appears (because I've hit :), but nothing else happens, no space is inserted either.

What was expected: the previous behaviour was replacing :D with 😃.

That's a shame - looks like we broke this with the composer upgrade as part of 0.17.
