Retina images are no longer showed at retina resolution

Steps to reproduce

1. Take a screenshot on macOS
2. Upload it
3. See it appear 2x the right size.

Outcome

What did you expect?

It should be shown at the same physical size as the original screenshot.

What happened instead?

The resolution data is ignored and it's showed at 2x the correct size.

This is a regression of matrix-org/matrix-react-sdk#2439 and #2985

Following your repro steps it appears at the 1:1 resolution for me.

As per @ara4n in #30007 (comment) - this is a macOS bug which we cannot work around due to it being inconsistent.
