Favourites metaspace doesn't update when new favourite is added

Steps to reproduce

Best tested on an account without favourites

1. Add a room or DM as a favourite
2. See it added to the favourites section of the left panel in Home and spaces
3. Click on the favourites metaspace

Outcome

What did you expect?

See a list of favourites

What happened instead?

Empty list if no favourites at the start or
if there were favourited rooms in older versions, then the old copy of the list without most recent changes
