(Accessibility) Many buttons need more descriptive labels  #82516

Closed

Description

Just about every icon button in the new visualization editor has a generic name such as "Remove dimension". This makes it hard for screen reader users to quickly find the action they're looking to do. Creating a more specific aria-label such as "Remove Y-axis count metric" would create unique names for each of these buttons making navigation much easier.

Note, this applies at least to these buttons (but probably a few more so feel free to fix any in the vicinity that you find):

  • Remove dimension
  • Modify priority by dragging
  • Disable aggregation
  • Add
