Vega's filter bar is not usable with non default index pattern #62122
Description
Kibana version: 7.7, 7.6, 7.5,.. (probably some other 7.x). Works in 6.8
Browser version: Chrome
Describe the bug:
Filter bar in Vega is not usable with non default index pattern.
- Suggestions are from the wrong index.
- After applying correct custom filter 7.7, 7.6:
in 7.6 query bar silently crashes and disappears:
in 7.7 it is nicer query bar adds "error" state to filter:
in 6.8 that worked.
Expected behavior:
Probably we should pick index pattern?
Or at least have some mode in filter manager which doesn't require index pattern?
