Description
I’d like to propose an enhancement to the case management system in Kibana Security.
Currently, the case IDs generated are UUIDs (e.g., 76e195db-c57e-4946-bc2a-489a074ef242), which are difficult to reference and manage during investigation follow-ups and collaboration.
It would be incredibly helpful if Kibana could support human-readable case IDs, similar to the format used in IBM Resilient (e.g., RES0001, RES0002, etc.). This type of format would make it easier to reference and communicate about specific cases during investigations and documentation.
Benefits:
Improved usability and collaboration for investigation follow-ups.
Simplified tracking and referencing in reports and communication.
Better alignment with workflows commonly seen in other platforms.
Is there any chance we could have an option for generating and displaying human-readable case IDs in Kibana?
Thank you for considering this feature request!
