At the moment there is no validation for timepicker:refreshIntervalDefaults setting. The user can set an extremely narrow interval that affects the performance of the entire app. (I assume the vast majority of Kibana plugins rely on timefilter.getRefreshInterval.)
Should Kibana enforce some minimum value?
Also, can the input control be more user friendly? Perhaps some users overlook the description and assume the value is in seconds.
