Based on a feedback session from Zoia Aubry we've identified some areas in the "Data management" docs where users are finding difficulties. A specific pain point has been connecting Kibana visualizations to their underlying data streams, and the steps required to manage those data streams (and backing indices) as part of a lifecycle policy.
To help users better conceptualize the relationship between ingested data, visualizations, and data stream management, it would be helpful to create a detailed walkthrough. The walkthrough could begin with installing the System Integration with Elastic Agent and viewing the associated metrics in Kibana, and then it could proceed with customizing the data lifecycle for the underlying data streams.
This issue is a placeholder while I gather requirements. More to come.
