Filter Demo: Cannot read property 'menu' of undefined

There is an error in jquery.multiselect.filter.js at line 34 using the filter demo. I got the message in title with Chrome, while Firefox throws an "instance is undefined" error at the same line.

changing line 32 of the uncompressed version of the plugin
from:
var instance = (this.instance = $(this.element).data('multiselect'));
to:
var instance = (this.instance = $(this.element).data('echMultiselect'));

Fixes this issue.

It happened to me to with MVC 4.
When I have a problem with scripts in Bundle Config I Just add the script manually like this:

<script type="text/javascript" src="~/Scripts/jquery.multiselect.filter.js"></script>

Works for me . . .

+1 to davidworkman9's solution above. Changing 'multiselect' to 'echMultiselect' fixed this issue for me.
