rebase-exec exercise test.sh crashes bash shell

On the rebase-exec exercise, if you run the command ". test.sh" in the exercise directory, it crashes the bash terminal

While we improved the exercise yesterday with the pull request closing this issue, we actually didn't solve the original question. I just had a chat with @Neppord, who rightly explained that the test.sh contains a call to exit. When we source test.sh, all the commands are run in the current shell rather than a subshell. This means the exit command is run in the current shell, and thus exits it.

So turns out that the exercise was working all along, but you motivated us to improve it. Thank you :)
