Anchors reference sections in the contents table, and not themselves

This really confused me as this is not how most documentation sites work. I was surprised to discover that this was a feature and not a bug: I thought at first that the links were just broken. I think there are better solutions than breaking common UI patterns.

So the question is: can I change this behavior?

The current behavior is to jump to ToC once clicked, and clicking on the ToC entry will jump back to the section. I agree this isn't common.

No, I know how to change this, I asked if you agree that this should be changed.

Yes, if you only change the theme options. If you change the theme itself, I would rather try upstreaming it first.

I should say any non-intrusive method is OK, which including using an overriding CSS, for example.
