High Priority:

  1. Add documentation for authors and give credit to original creator of Wingspan
  2. Change URBAN to ORNAMENTAL
  3. Switch order of printing move options: 1) plant a tree, 2) gain nutrients, 3) hug a tree, 4) draw tree cards
  4. Don't refresh the 3 cards on display until end of turn
  5. What happens if deck runs out of cards?
  6. Change # hugs printed after hugging trees to only hugs from that turn
  7. Add a print total hugs at the end of a turn (also bring back the display of everything at end of turn)
  8. Implement "hug cost"- 1st tree planted in habitat requires 0 hugs, 2nd and 3rd trees require 1 hug, 4th and beyond trees require 2 hugs. Check for hugs at the same time as checking for required nutrients
  9. Add columns to trees csv for additional Boolean information, and add 0's and 1's (later to be changed to False/True) for all trees
  10. Implement additional bonus cards
  11. Make chart of bonus card names, descriptions, point values, number of cards required to get points
  12. Add wild card nutrient option
  13. Add additional sun requirements and select trees that can get wild nutrients
  14. Add option to exchange 2 for 1 food, only available in the play a bird option (If player doesn't have required nutrients, give them the option to exchange, then try again)

Medium Priority:

  1. "When Played" powers- for select tree cards, option to choose 1 of 2 bonus cards, gain a nutrient, hug all your trees, etc.
  2. Implement 4 rounds (assuming 26 rounds as the default, rounds of 9, 8, 7, and 6 turns)
  3. At end of each round, refresh the 3 cards on display
  4. List end of round goal ideas: # hugs, trees per habitat, trees in hand, nutrients in hand, etc.

Dream wish list:

  1. Bowser's duel at the end of round 2. Examples: select a random player to lose all cards in hand, lose all nutrients, donate all hugs to another player, everyone gets to steal from the leader, etc.
  2. Implement fake tree expansion pack
  3. Tree fun facts and options to learn more about trees
  4. Activation powers- similar to when played but much more difficult to implement. After drawing nutrients, activate all CONIFEROUS in reverse order. After hugging trees, activate all DECIDUOUS in reverse order. After drawing tree cards, activate all ORNAMENTAL in reverse order.
  5. Ideas for activation powers: tucking unwanted tree cards, stealing a nutrient from another player of choice, everyone gains a sun, everyone draws a tree card
