persistent cache issue #505
Description
having an oddball cache issue after a new build on a couple devices, and I have made sure the old files are removed. it's served by nginx. one is a PC with Chrome browser, loading the page shows the old version, a CTRL+F5 shows the new version, as expected, but just F5 again and the old version comes back. I was able to get it to stick by using the developer tools "clear all site data" button, but I shouldn't have to do that, right? The other is a phone and closing the tab and opening again doesn't bring it up to date, but does on other phones. another PC with Chrome isn't having this issue.
is there something different I should be doing in code to make sure clients get the newest version update?
