This has been requested by @b8raoult and currently implemented by @alexamici and @aurghs.

The plan is to create an abstract GRIB container type that allows implementations like:

  • multi file
  • file + offsets
  • multi file + offsets
  • URL + offsets
  • multi-URL + offsets
  • metview object
