Pid dir clobber

On Ubuntu /var/run is a symlink to /run

Upgrading from an older version, /var/run is clobbered with a real dir on disk, causing items with pids to report as stopped.

This default pid dir should be somewhere else, or not defined by default.

You are right. The parameter gr_pid_dir is just used in one init template. And we do not need it there.
