👜 Bolsos

An offline Android app that replaces the pencil-and-notebook a handbag seller uses to track sales on credit.

Bolsos is built for one person: an independent seller who lets customers buy bags in installments (weekly, biweekly or monthly). Everything the notebook used to do (who owes what, when the next payment is due, who is late) lives on the phone, works with no internet, and is locked behind a PIN.

What it does

• Clients: name, phone, address, references, notes. Deleting a client cleanly removes their sales, payments and photos.
• Sales on credit: pick or create a client, describe the item, attach product photos, set the total, an optional down payment, the frequency and the number of installments. The app computes the balance, the amount per installment and every due date. A sale flips to settled automatically when the balance hits zero.
• Payments: partial or full, auto-timestamped, newest first. Each payment updates the balance instantly and can fire off a friendly WhatsApp receipt ("Hi 😊 I received your payment of $300. Your remaining balance is $900. Thank you.").
• Overdue view: one screen with everyone who is behind, so the day's follow-ups are obvious.
• Search across clients and sales, and a PIN screen guarding the whole app.

Build

./gradlew assembleDebug

Release signing reads BOLSOS_STORE_PASSWORD, BOLSOS_KEY_ALIAS and BOLSOS_KEY_PASSWORD from the environment (or a local, git-ignored properties file).
