Terrain compatibility

Hi! How does it work with terrain enabled? There is no mention in the code.

There is an example in the docs on how to make three.js work with MapLibre GL JS + terrain, just in case

@AbelVM Yes, terrain support is not yet integrated. I reviewed the examples and found that you can obtain the model's elevation through relevant Maplibre interfaces. Then, when adding the model, can configure the elevation settings. The repository will include such examples.

I guess that 3D tiles' reference point needs to be set at their right elevation value as a whole, so it's a use case quite similar to a single 3D object.

But what about point clouds where the elevation is often referenced to ground?

Point clouds can be processed using Points. A reference point (which can be the point with index 0) can be set. Then, the difference between each point in the point cloud and this reference point is calculated. Finally, the points containing terrain information are set to this reference point. Of course, there will be some error involved. Unless every point references the terrain, which is extremely performance-intensive.
