Evaluate Use Cases for Parameter Type.

Currently there is no actual use-case for Query Parameter type. Furthermore, the date type uses a date object, but everything winds up being string at the end of the day anyway... Is is really needed? This was implemented because of the legacy "graphQL" interface which allows for "upsert_query" when one needs to define the parameter type at upsert time.
