Storage kW and kvar

We are currently working on a model that is utilizing the storage ability in Open DSS and our model has the following in it.

New Storage.Battery phases=3 Bus1=P10 kV=.480 kWrated=500 kVA=650 kWhrated=6000 kWhstored=3000 State=discharging
Storage.Battery.kW=250
Storage.Battery.kvar=200

We want to be able to set the values for Storage.Battery.kW and Storage.Battery.kvar via API calls. These can be set according to documentation in com

But there are currently no Getter or Setter functions for this in the current altdss-go api. Is there any chance getter and setters can be create for these values? We want to be able to update those values without redefining the model and we will be calling solve repeatedly.

Yes, we try to publish new versions for all language-specific projects right after the engine is updated. I'd recommend either tracking the engine and main API changelog at https://github.com/dss-extensions/dss_capi/blob/master/docs/changelog.md or keeping an eye on the general announcements at https://github.com/orgs/dss-extensions/discussions/categories/announcements

@dougchristie-DukeEnergy, we're waiting for an upstream OpenDSS release. There are too many changes there, so we're waiting to avoid too many "why doesn't AltDSS match OpenDSS ...?" questions.
