CLI doesn't seem to work, how can I make it work?

When running rostra serve I get the following error:

When running rostra web-ui I get:

Oooohhhh...

I should probably take down that cargo install from README...

So, Rostra web-ui comes with bunch of assets for the UI:

rostra web-ui --help

...

      --assets-dir <ASSETS_DIR>    Root directory of the assets dir [env: ROSTRA_ASSETS_DIR=]

The defaults are pointing at the build time directory holding them:

which I guess cargo install immediately threw away.

On Nix, the package bundles them properly, so everything works. I expected every package manager etc. to take care of bundling these the way they desire.

For cargo install, I actually didn't think it through...

You could clone https://github.com/dpc/rostra with git and either cargo run -- web-ui inside and that should work (that's what I'm using during dev work), or e.g. copy out the crates/rostra-web-ui/assets/ and set ROSTRA_ASSETS_DIR to point at it...

I need to do some reasearch on what's the idiomatic way to bundle assets with Rust app installed via cargo install...

I now find that rostra web-ui works for me for my localhost. It shows my events posted from rostra.me. It is missing some other people's events, but that's minor issue.
