Describe the bug.

After cancelling the uninstall of .NET SDK, the Uninstall .NET list is displayed incorrectly.

Reproduction Steps

1. On RHEL 9.5, run the sample command ‘Install .NET SDK Globally via .NET Install Tool (Former Runtime Extension)‘, enter the version it provided, which is 7.0.103. Hit enter.
2. After the .NET SDK is installed successfully, try to run '.NET Install Tool: Uninstall .NET' to uninstall the SDK
3. If you need to enter password, click cancel.

Expected Behavior

The SDK should not be uninstalled and the Uninstall .NET list should still show 7.0.103.

Exceptions & Errors (if any)

7.0.103 disappears from the Uninstall .NET list

This is a good issue. The reason this happens is that it's removed from the list regardless of if the uninstall succeeded. This is in part in case the uninstall partially went through so the already installed check doesn't return a corrupted install. As long as the install is validated though before returning it, fixing this bug should be relatively straight-forward, Id hope.

Not a blocker. This is a pre-existing behavior and not a regression.

For users who hit this they can try to reinstall it and the uninstall it again as a workaround.
