Customer Impact
Alpine performance has regressed since 3.1. There are 6x GC collections than before, this fix resolves the issue of retrieving the right gen0 size.
Testing
Validated using the repro in #41398. Will also ensure the collections benchmark doesnt is comparable to 3.1. Fixes #41398
Risk
Low, should mostly affect Alpine.
