Bus error when parsing EventPipeProviderConfiguration in .NET Core 3.1

Same as #2067, but it wasn't fixed for .NET Core 3.1 which is still supported. Is it possible?

Hi @k15tfu End of support for .NET Core 3.1 is in December 2022. The fix should already be in our latest .NET release, would it be possible to try it on .NET 6?

@tommcdon Hi! Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it works in .NET 6 and .NET 7 preview, the issue is about the possibility to backport it to .NET Core 3.1.

@k15tfu Thanks for the response! According to https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet, .NET Core 3.1 support ends on 12/13/2022. Given that we are about 4 months from the end of support, would it be possible to upgrade to .NET 6 where the fix already exists?
