Summary

Possible race condition observed when 2 resx files are opened within a short time, and first tab opened could not be closed
Originally filed as feedback ticket : AB#1625777
The solution was to restart VS

Steps to Reproduce

1. open two resx-Files within short time - fileA.en.resx, fileA.resx
2. The Tab that was opened as second was working correctly and opened in foreground.
3. The first file opened in “background” tab. When focussing I only see the following text in the Tab:
   “The designer loader did not provide a root component but has not indicated why.”
4. It was not possible anymore to close this obviously damaged Tab-Page.

Expected Behavior

Both tabs open without any errors and can be closed

It was not possible anymore to close this obviously damaged Tab-Page.

User Impact

Resource Designer has been replaced by Resource Explorer. I cannot reproduce this issue there.
