Unexpected anomalies detected

Issue

• What did you do?
  Detect anomalies on data with obvious anomalies and mostly flat data everywhere else

• What happened?
  Many unexpected anomalies were detected (two in image, more in output data in zip attached)
  

• What did you expect?
  Only the obvious anomalies in the middle to be detected

We verified this issue is not fixed by #5502 unfortunately.
