This was reported for this pull request: dotnet/runtime#100892

This feature is only active for main branch and in this case the targe branch was release/8.0-staging, that is the reasons this didn't work as expected.

We can add more branches into this feature or more repos if that is the expectation

Probably just for the release branches, I’m my opinion.
