Summary

Workflows to automate the updating of documentation or package references (e.g. installer packages, Dockerfiles) would benefit by consuming a client library that is capable of reading the underlying dependencies description. It would also aid the development of any tooling to manage the dependencies.

Goal

.NET contributors can programmatically transform or consume platform dependency data in order to automate their workflows.
